The Puerto Rico Regional Group, Inc. was founded in 1974 by 11 extraordinary Veterans under the presidency of Harry C. Quiles. Is it drawn up and approved its Constitution and is recognized as Chartered by the BVA as one and its regional group and assigned to the District Region 1. Among them are: Harry C. “To promote the welfare of blinded veterans so that, notwithstanding their disabilities, they may take their rightful place in the community and work with their fellow citizens toward the creation of a peaceful world.
To preserve and strengthen a spirit of fellowship among blinded veterans so that they may give mutual aid and assistance to one another.
To maintain and extend the institution of American freedom and encourage loyalty to the Constitution and laws of the United Sates and the states in which they reside.”
- Serve our blinded veterans in their compensation and pension procedures before the Veterans Administration thru our Veteran Service Officer at National headquarters.
- Represent veterans, specifically our class, before the Veterans Administration Caribbean health Care System in any issue.
- Promote the well being of the blinded veterans and their families.
- Develop chapters throughout Puerto Rico in order to break San Juan as the center mass for meetings due our constrictions for mobility.
